The first of many.
If you’re here, you probably know me from viral home finds, nostalgic holiday seasons, the garden, or just the rhythm of East Coast living. If you are new, hi! I’m Ally.
For the last few years, I’ve shared our home on Instagram: the DIY projects, the finds, the little corners I’m proud of. But Instagram only ever gets the highlight reel. Thirty seconds, one caption, and then it’s gone. There’s so much more I want to tell you! The actual how, not just the photo. The recipes I make that no one ever asks for the full version of. The tablescape formula I use over and over because it works every time. What I’m planting this week and why, before it’s too late to plant it. The seasonal stuff I’m obsessing over before it ever makes it to a grid post.
That’s what this is going to be.
Think of this as the extended room. The place where I slow down and actually explain things instead of cramming them into a caption. Some of it will be practical… real formulas, real timing, real sourcing. Some of it will just be me, thinking out loud about the life happening inside this house we built.
I’m genuinely so glad you’re here for the start of it. This is a place I want to build slowly and do right, not rush.
